In the case of thin single-pixel lines, a problem related to the interpretation of the EOH bins may occur which can be eliminated using the proposed approach. The main goal of the conducted experimental tests, using both synthetic and natural images, is determining the proper histogram with dominating single-pixel lines of the specified orientation to the horizontal axis.
